This consultation seeks your views on a new set of adult placement regulations to replace The Adult Placement Schemes (Wales) Regulations 2004 and The Adult Placement Schemes (Wales) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2010.  

The proposed regulations include requirements under sections 27 and 28 of the act on:

  • service providers and 
  • responsible individuals of independent and local authority adult placement schemes.

We are also seeking your views on draft statutory guidance to accompany the regulations and on the principle of extending adult placement schemes to include 16 and 17 year olds.
