Child safety concerns and 'Care proceedings'
Sometimes people who know you can be very worried that you are not being looked after properly or you may be at risk of being hurt.
If people become worried that you are not being looked after properly or you may be at risk of harm, care proceedings could start.
'Care’ or ‘Supervision’ proceedings are where a Local Authority has applied to the family court to protect a child when there are serious concerns about a child’s safety or welfare.
What is Cafcass Cymru?
Cafcass Cymru is an organisation within Welsh Government that provides a voice for any child in Wales that is involved with the Family Justice System. When appointed by the family courts, we work with families and other organisations to find long-term solutions for the child.
