Matthew Pinnell Deputy Chief Executive

Matthew joined Cafcass Cymru as a Family Court Advisor in March 2002 and in July 2005 became an Area Director.  Following a restructure of Cafcass Cymru he became the Head of Operations for Gwent in July 2011.  In March 2018 Matthew was appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive. Matthew is a qualified Social worker with extensive experience in child and family social work, both with local authority children services departments and the third sector.
