We want your views on the introduction of mandatory sheep carcase classification.
Consultation description
We are consulting on proposals to:
- introduce mandatory sheep carcase classification and reporting in Wales for slaughter houses with a throughput of more than 1,000 sheep per week as an annual average
- mandate the communication of carcase classification and price reporting
- publish schedules and communicate classification results to the customer.
