Original consultation

We want to know your views about whether statistical outputs published on the environment and sustainability are meeting users' needs, in order to assess their usefulness and identify any areas for improvement.

Consultation description

The purpose of this consultation is to seek users’ views on proposals for:

  • Changes to the presentation of statistics in outputs relating to Local Authority Municipal Waste.
  • Changing the frequency of updates to the State of the Environment Report.

Your contributions will help us to understand the impact these changes could have on the individuals and organisations that use these statistics. The outcome of this consultation will inform our decision as to whether these changes can be implemented. This is in line with the Official Statistics Code of Practice which states that effective user engagement is fundamental both to trust in statistics and securing maximum public value.

This consultation was disseminated to users via email and published on the Welsh Statistical Liasion Committee (WSLC) Knowledge Hub website (formerly the WSLC Community of Practice).
