Professor Dame Jean Thomas is a distinguished biochemist and Professor Emeritus of Macromolecular Biochemistry. She is also the Master of St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. She has extensive experience on a wide range of boards and advisory committees in her academic field and beyond, including Research Councils, and as a governor of the Wellcome Trust, Trustee of the British Museum, Biological Secretary and Vice-President of the Royal Society, and now Trustee of the Wolfson Foundation.
