We want your views on proposed changes to student support and higher education funding.
Consultation description
We are consulting on our proposals for student support and higher education funding, which would:
- change the tuition fee and maintenance support package for students resident in Wales who are studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level
- ensure that students with experience of a care setting receive the maximum level of maintenance grant
- introduce a pilot scheme to explore the practicalities of extending the student support package beyond the UK and EU
- make changes to current restrictions on equivalent or lower qualifications for the purposes of student support.
