We want your views on a draft update of the Animals and Animal Products (Examination for Residues and Maximum Residue Limits) Regulations 1997.
Consultation description
The draft regulations will ensure the veterinary medicines framework in Wales continues to operate effectively after Brexit. It does not change our policy on veterinary medicines residues.
We are consulting on proposed updates that will:
- align veterinary medicines requirements in Wales with those in England and Scotland
- ensure any references to retained EU legislation are accurate
